UPDATE 8/21/21: The image of Afghani parents handing their infant child up to an American soldier over a barbed wire fence brings home the power and presence of American freedom still offered to the world. These parents, facing the possibility of extinction at the hands of the Taliban, were willing to part with their child that it might grow up in freedom. The baby was reportedly reunited with its parents at the Kabul airport, but the final fate of the family remains unknown.
We dream of the day when those now in power intent on destroying America from within find themselves banished to the ashbin of history. If and how that can ever come about remains to be seen, but the wish burns brightly within anyone still animated by the American spirit.
UPDATE 8/17/21: Rekindling and refreshing the American spirit is not just for comfortable, feel-good times and contemplation. At the moment, Americans are suffering humiliation and very real impending disaster on multiple fronts. Not the the least of these disasters is the corrupted election process that has allowed a zealously anti-American administration to subvert us from within, fronted by an inanimate puppet/doll remote-controlled by forces yet to be fully identified.
It’s crisis time, and there is action that can and must be taken by our passive representatives in DC. Control our borders, build The Wall. Restore our free market economy and domestic energy independence and curtail putting able-bodied Americans on the dole. On the international front, clean out the Pentagon of Woke ideologues and restore a military force whose first duty is to protect Americans here and abroad.
Admittedly, all this amounts to a very modest proposal, but it’s a start.
UPDATE 8/21/21: The raison d’etre of Democrat politics from moderate to Woke is now the repudiation and suppression of anything resembling unabashed pro-Americanism. Trump’s rekindling of the America First spirit, MAGA, is considered a gigantic reproach to John Lennon’s imaginary “Imagine” utopia of globalism: no borders, no possessions, no religion that now totally informs the mainstream Democrat ideal. So, naturally Trump has to go and all his supporters with him. What has panned out in a breathtakingly short time is the beginnings of One World dominance and control, not only in America but in other formerly stalwart bastions of freedom such as the U.K., New Zealand and Australia.

UPDATE 8/21/21: Amidst the Afghanistan disaster, January 6 show trials, uncontrolled immigrant invasion and ginned-up fears of new lockdowns, one big question still burns vividly through the fog: what happened in Wuhan in 2019 and what direct connection does the ever-more-sinister Dr. Fauci and EcoAlliance’s Peter Daszak have to the creation and release of The Virus from the Wuhan lab?
UPDATE 8/16/21: For anyone with some common sense and more interest in what works medically and not politically: Covid symptoms can be avoided if hit early with zinc and Vitamins A & D. Throw in HCQ and Ivermectin, both relatively cheap and available through routine prescription from any doctor serious about practicing real medicine, and you have a better than excellent chance of avoiding problems. On the other hand: if you get your news and medical advice from the people who shut down the world and ruined millions of lives in order to unsuccessfully save thousands, never mind.
UPDATE 8/20/21: The demented focus of the Heroic Heathier-Than-Thou Vaxed is pointing fingers of blame toward the vax skeptics for the police state crackdowns from Leftist politicians. It’s an old Stalinist/Soviet tactic by the controllers to avert from themselves the rage locked-down, restricted people feel and direct it within the citizenry. Carrying the resultant interpersonal enmity and paranoia over to ANY political disagreement has now made Vax Madness the flagship of this new police state. As a result, more and more of us find ourselves threatened socially or voluntarily self-isolated to avoid confrontation; and those who can are moving away from the cities and to the relative peace and autonomy of rural communities.

Worse, what must America’s adversaries, such as China, Russia, Iran or North Korea be thinking now? That such cut-and-run behavior signals the perfect opportunity to strike the Ukraine or Taiwan?”
There is no one, nada, zip at the American helm, and the free world finds itself without leadership. We are polluted with empty rhetoric worth precisely as much as the intellectual cesspool from which it springs and where it permanently belongs.

UPDATE 8/15/21: Post Mueller/Schiff/Cuomo, who will the next inflated air doll be, pumped up by the Leftist media to Woke St. George proportions only to find himself deflated rubber in a nearby junkpile? The Taliban have been invited by engraved invitation to take over Afghanistan again (bolstered by a strong ChiCom presence) with our abandoned military hardware thrown in as party favors. All those wasted young lives, all those billions of dollars. UPDATE 8/21/21: What ISN’T a lie emanating from our presently “elected” leadership? We’re told the Afghanistan catastrophe is “not Saigon.” Except it is, only worse if one is to consider the terrible fates awaiting the thousands of Americans left behind in the sudden withdrawal. One can with certainty come up with the truth by taking a consistent stand 180 degrees opposite what we are being told by Washington and its MSM mouthpieces.
UPDATE 8/16/21: If there is any constant in the nightmare Biden presence is that there is nothing and no one there. Our borders are currently wide open to floods of illegal immigrants, and America’s entire 20 year effort to gain the upper hand in Afghanistan against Islamic terrorism after 9/11 has suddenly gone up in smoke. Every effort is now underway to destroy whatever energy independence we had, and our elections are panning out to be banana republic charades thanks to the creation of a permanent crisis mentality among the masses. Only for the terminally naive could this be analyzed as mere incompetence at work. Instead, it is a concerted plan to destroy America from within, using a phantom, a hologram, a puppet, Chance Gardiner incarnate.
And, putting aside the obvious dementia, we are cursed with a thoroughly bad character of no scruples or principle, already without question the worst POTUS in our history. As things reach a critical point and this useless political prop is removed as planned long ago, we may be closer to learning the identities of his determined, diabolical puppeteers. Susan Rice? Obama? Soros? All three and then some?
UPDATE 8/21/21: The credibility of our “public servants,” especially the highest-paid liars and dissemblers like Fauci, has sunk to a well-deserved zero. This is not necessarily a bad development if more of the public begins to rely on their own common sense rather than the bloviation of “experts.”
UPDATE 8/20/21: That profoundly ugly & twisted Frisco sociopath masquerading as a devout nun with benefits always has a wise, serious take on everything. One fondly recalls her good counsel about passing ObamaCare to see what was in it. About rioting in the cities, tearing down statues? “People will do what they do.” About billions of dollars of American military hardware being left behind for the Taliban (and their Chinese advisers) to use against us? “This is what happens when you withdraw.”
To borrow from another principled female in power dodging ANY sense of responsibility for the consequences of her own evil intentions: “Oh well, what difference does it make now?”
