I earned this. It belongs to me, not to you.

For some, humble beginnings leading to unimaginable success provide the source of lifelong bitterness and a permanent taste for vengeance on society. For others, like Sir Michael Caine, it obviously has been the source of all-purpose wisdom: “I’d rather be a poor master than a rich servant.” Individualism, self-reliance, independence, the fountainheads of whatever true happiness and security there are to be gained in this world. Apparently, Sir Mike’s change of heart is not so sudden, going back to 2009 when he publicly switched allegiance away from Labor. Amazing the man still works in an industry less than friendly to anyone to the Right of Stalin.

Such a world view is lost on those permanently confused and corrupted by a lifestyle of dependency upon Big Brother/Big Momma/Big Gov. Such is the crux of our ongoing political wars wherever human beings breathe.
