A tradition of closing out each day’s activities at 11 PM each evening, provided by the young people attending an annual All-State choir conference in Kentucky. There was a time in American history when music education was closely akin to evangelism, spreading the Gospel. In our jaded times, what is more edifying than the musical Gospel of Americanism and all that’s extraordinary and noble about Her place in the whole panorama of human history?
