On Tuesday, Rep. Allen West spoke at a town hall in Florida. During his appearance, he told the crowd he’s “heard” that up to 80 House Democrats are members of the Communist Party.
The Palm Beach Post reported on the event, adding that West “wouldn’t name names” to back up his assertion. Currently, there are 190 Democrats in the House

Earlier today Forbes posted an excerpt from the book Hope Is Not a Strategy by John Mariotti and D. M. Lukas. The author provided an excerpt from the book for the article where he describes Barack Obama as a “manufactured candidate” whose history remains sealed. Mariotti then calls Obama the “Manchurian candidate.”

Beginning in 1856, the Xhosa tribe in today’s South Africa destroyed its own economy. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has denied Gov. John Kasich’s request for federal assistance in Clermont County after last week’s tornadoes. Kasich sent a letter Wednesday afternoon to President Barack Obama, asking for a presidential disaster declaration.
