UPDATE 6/26/21: Who these days doesn’t experience the unsettling fallout from our new Civil War of deep divisions within families, friendships, work environments, political parties originally sown and Progressively deepened by Obama’s 2008 vow to transform America? One of the most devastating of all divisions is that between those admirable individuals, young and old, really still believing in the American Dream of freedom, opportunity, hard work adding up to a satisfying life and those in government intent on thwarting those ambitions via high taxes, senseless regulations and, in the case of enforced lockdowns, the outright destruction of small business. There is also the threatening chill of political correctness and cancel culture casting a wide, dark pall over all forms of free expression that depart from the prevailing Leftist/Woke mindset.
One could easily shrink in fearful despair, but hope springs eternal when the tried-and-tested ideas that made and continue to make America great are brought out again and put into action. Reading Brit pol Nigel Farage’s description of an animated, unbowed, invigorated Trump at Mar-A-Lago provides a vivid portrait of renewed hope and absolute refusal to give up. Contrary to all the MSM propaganda and dismissive comments of our fellows, this is still the man to watch, the force to lead us back onto the MAGA track.

UPDATE 6/25/21: His record during Covid was exemplary and his recent solid stances on education, restoring patriotism to our schools, make DeSantis MAGA’s future after Trump. His role can be either a strong backup for Trump or, better for the long term, the purveyor of the next step in restoring/re-establishing America’s proven possibilities to all Americans. Whichever, DeSantis is a blessing and reason for realistic hope.

UPDATE 6/24/21: The first hedge against Californication/Detroiting of American cities is a return to law and order, that Deplorable rightwing extremist, fascist concept of penalizing criminals for crimes against innocent citizenry. The sarcasm here should come as no surprise to anyone aghast at the recent glorification/canonization of George Floyd and the whole line of serial offenders who came before him and those yet to be exploited. In case one needs reminding, crime by definition ranges from petty larceny like the Frisco shoplifting epidemic to arson, armed robbery, violent assault and murder. Could it be New York is finally catching on to the insanity of choosing for mayor an anarcho-communist partial to criminals and intent on undermining law enforcement, replacing him with a former Brooklyn cop who replies when asked if he’ll carry a gun, “Yes I will, number one. And number two, I won’t have a security detail. If the city is safe, the mayor shouldn’t have a security detail with him. He should be walking the street by himself.”
UPDATE 6/24/21: Seventeen Walgreen stores in Frisco are closing because of the shoplifting epidemic raging with the blessing of DA Chesa Boudin (son of 60s Weathermen sociopaths David Gilbert and Kathy Boudin). Perverse but unsurprisingly he took on the notorious name of his mother rather than his father to advance a career in societal subversion aka San Francisco politics. The result is that the Wokest city of them all has removed old-fashioned theft/robbery from its list of what’s considered criminal activity. UPDATE 6/25/21; When Lin-Manuel Miranda and other chic Progressives hail “inclusiveness,” the rights of “ALL THE PEOPLE” as he repeatedly describes it, they are really EXCLUDING anything or anyone they don’t happen to like. Seems that people like him aren’t content with equality but actually crave absolute power and control, and dissent is decidedly unwelcome. Those vying on the Left for that total control tend to eat each other in the end as nicely demonstrated by Miranda’s groveling before his Wokester comrade/critics decrying non-“inclusive” casting for his latest film. As said in my original assessment of “Hamilton,” “inclusiveness” definitely has its limits with these people.

UPDATE 6/23/21: If someone makes it clear he wants you dead, why would you pursue friendship with him? So it is with the ChiComs cooking up Covid in a Wuhan lab, loosing it on the world; and a suicidal America as represented by a ChiCon puppet named Joe says “Can’t we be friends?” Under rational leadership, we would be well advised to go on the offense and hold the ChiComs legally accountable for a global crime. The recent defection of an intelligence officer from the highest level of Chinese espionage provides further evidence that we do not want to meet these people halfway on anything.
And now this defector has disappeared. Had he defected about a year ago, chances are he’d find himself in friendlier hands. Current hands may not want what he has to say made public. To be continued….?

UPDATE 6/20/21: During the CoronaCraze, Big Brother decided, rather than let individuals take whatever risks and continue to live our normal lives, that HE had the one-size-fits-all solution and rigidly locked EVERYONE down. Admittedly, it was a gift to those whose find totalitarian control from above couched in kindly terms very heady (for the controllers) and comforting (for a frightening number of the controlled). Some of us will always be haunted by those videos of burly cops dragging unmasked men and women out of stores and trains like common criminals.

In recent weeks a Kennedy Center Honoree, she has used her renewed media presence to make a great show of inviting two symbols of “Resistance” to All Things Trump as her special guests during the week of award ceremonies. Tellingly, both represent the new totalitarian controls of BidenWorld, apparently a comforting reprieve for her from the horrors of Make America Great Again: Dr. Fauci, that notorious architect of totalitarian control for a good cause (isn’t it always?); and a policemen named Michael Fanone roughed up on January 6 at the hands of what the media now characterize as violent White Supremacist Insurrectionists on the verge of destroying the sacred process of American government. Actually, the crowd was totally unarmed and the whole thing over in a matter of a few hours, and the one serious incidence of violence a dead Trump supporter at the hands of a still-unidentified Capitol officer. Where is the similar outrage over the angry mob fired up by Elizabeth Warren in 2018, marching on and invading the Supreme Court building in protest against the Kavanaugh nomination?
In Baez’s words, Fanone was “beaten nearly to death” during a mob’s “move to violently overthrow the U.S. Government.” Now she repeatedly invokes January 6 as if it were 9/11, neglecting to mention it has become the pretext for eliminating all dissent or opposition to the sitting Democratic Party in power. In HER world view, the KKK, Hitler and McCarthy re-arose from the grave in the Trump years, but her Dem Party comrades have miraculously fought back the monster for the time being.
Add to such delusions her passionate belief in Global Warming as an existential crisis, and Joan has transported herself mentally back to the good old days of her 50s/60s youth when the world was young and brimming over with righteous rage at The Establishment and the terrifyingly perilous world it had wrought.
