Charter School Choice: Another threat to the hardened Left

UPDATE 10/5/17: If statistics are to be believed, recent NY charter school test results leave the competition in the dust. Naturally DiBlasio continues to stonewall and ignore requests for more charter school space. All in service to the teachers’ union and other entrenched interests that stand to lose all that treasury money. “For The Children” is good cover for the the trough-feeding Left.

Much of the argument against charter schools is rooted in the socialist concept of “equality,” that it’s just not fair that some in life are better, richer, faster, smarter, luckier, treated better, harder working, more successful than others despite the fact that people and situations ARE not equal.

So, their solution: everyone should be equally constrained and controlled by those nice, honest sincere types in government and unions who so brilliantly manage public education (and everything else they want to nationalize). Even all charter schools are not equal or equally successful. Proof positive! Therefore,  no one should be allowed to stray off the benevolent plantation of Public Ed. Note the difference between the pragmatic Chicago Mayor Emanuel and the rigidly dogmatic socialist DiBlasio in New York.
