 If only the internal rumblings within the Dem Party were truly a sign of political suicide. Alas.  It’s still, basically, Bernie vs. Hillary, (thieving paper-pushing bureaucrats vs. thieving Ivy League kleptocrats) but now with a pragmatic call for an image spruce up. If one is to sell centralized master planning to the stupid, helpless masses,  one must prettify the masks. And the promised Trump agenda provides the only opposition to that.

Recently, the choice has been Uncle Bernie, rumpled  grass-roots Populist vs. Haughty Hillary, Ivy League/Wall Street insider, both with that not-so-strange Man-Of-The-People weakness for self-enrichment, power and all the luxuries money can buy. But lest you forget: Bernie will fight for you! Hillary will fight for you! So will the next millionaire Dem standard bearer promising to “fight for you.” But don’t discount that both are entitled to a nice, skimmed-off “finder’s fee” for all that loot confiscated from the chumps on the   Little Guy’s behalf. According to Donna Brazile’s new expose of her former BFFs in the Dem Party, all the principals  (Obama, WassHerName-Schultz, Bill Clinton’s wife) looted the Party coffers for their own special purposes and left the till bone-dry.

Naturally, Brazile qualifies her criticism because nice people like Dems always hurt the ones they love. “I knew that these three did not do this with malice. I knew if you woke any of them up in the middle of the night to ask them how they felt about the Democratic Party they would answer with sincerity that they loved this party and all it had done for the country and for them. Yet they had leeched it of its vitality and were continuing to do so.”

So, before making a heroine of Al Gore’s former campaign manager and loyal Party operative who leaked Hillary questions prior to the debates, Donna Brazile’s bombshell book should be viewed merely  as CYA job insurance for the future. Doubtless, she is making enemies of the current players. But who cares; that cast will (and must) change.  The old Dem strategy of using other people’s money to purchase votes with empty promises  will not. Nor will the bloody hardball behind the scenes played with bloody shark tank gusto by Barack and Hillary and their successors. The goal is always power within the Party in service to absolute power over the whole American people.

Prominent voices suggest the decks are being cleared (of the Clinton machine) for an Obama restoration in the person of one Michelle-Antoinette. That seems dubious considering that Brazile pointedly takes “Titanic Ego”  Mr. O out with the garbage in her housecleaning “Hacks” manual. Also, consider how little Mrs. O seems to like politics. The plush perks? Yes, Yes, Yes! But campaigning? Playing hostess? Being gracious & charming before the public again? One suspects she’d rather actually show up and work at that fake, high-paying hospital gig in Chicago back in the smalltime days.

What is certain: whoever emerges to fill top spot in the Progressive vacuum will call upon the same proven sales pitch from all past, present and future Advocates For The Little Guy: “I’m gonna get you yours, and Mean Ol’ Whitey RichPants is paying the tab!”
